The Story

Beach Break Surf Camp is a boutique beachfront hotel and (you guessed it) surf camp in Playa Venao, Panama.

A few years ago, a husband-wife team of jiu jitsu instructors took over management and started adding a repertoire of fresh activities and amenities– from martial arts and yoga classes to a brand-new, modern fitness center right on the beach.

As Beach Break evolved, so too did its target market. While Beach Break has always been popular among surfers, young travelers, and families, it wanted to tap further into the active lifestyle crowd. Doing so would not only align with Beach Break’s expanding health and fitness offerings, but help distinguish Beach Break from other hotels lining the beachfront.

The Solution

We devised a content strategy for Beach Break that blended SEO blogging, social media, and email marketing to generate awareness and interest in Beach Break's growing health and fitness offerings across newly identified audience segments.

Fun and informative content that educates readers while attracting website traffic and promoting Beach Break offerings.

From group fitness retreats to family surfing vacations, we craft high-quality content around topics that appeal to the kind of people Beach Break wants to attract.

As a bonus, blog posts are selected and written to provide SEO value and can attract organic traffic for years to come.

Social Media Distribution

Strategic sharing of blog content across social media to drive immediate traffic and interest.

SEO takes time to kick in, so we take to social media to drive immediate traffic. We repurpose blog content over Facebook and Instagram, driving users to the website to get the full content (and browse BBSC offerings and amenities). 

In addition to organic sharing, we leverage paid advertising tactics to reach newly targeted audience segments.

Past guests are a fantastic source of repeat business and referrals for Beach Break. We help them keep in touch with fun and informative emails that people love opening (and clicking through to read more). 

Since their email list tend to be more familiar with Beach Break, we shift the call to action as needed for maximum relevance and impact.

In less than six months, our content marketing efforts with Beach Break have driven thousands of page views and tens of thousands of social media impressions.
