TPS Software is a practice management solution designed exclusively for accountants. For more than 20 years, TPS has helped accounting firms across the U.S. and Canada organize and optimize their practice. 

As technology and the accounting industry have evolved, TPS Software has updated its selection of offerings to stay relevant. One such major update is TPS Cloud Axis– a cloud-based version of TPS’ flagship on-premise product.

TPS wanted to attract new firms and users to its product, while also encouraging existing on-premise clients to transition to the new cloud-based version. With a keen eye toward the future, TPS was also interested in reinvigorating its brand to appeal to a younger millennial demographic.

The Solution

We devised a lead generation strategy for TPS that attracted and funneled prospects through a content-based process. Tactics included ebooks, video webinars, SEO blogging, targeted email marketing, and trending social media content.

We also strategized and helped create an on-demand video webinar in which the TPS team discusses top pain points for small-mid size accounting firms– another lead generation mechanism.

Accounting isn't exactly the most exciting of industries– at least, that's the perception TPS wants to push back against! 

We supplement TPS' social media strategy with fun and engaging content based on social media trends. 

The Results

TPS Software has seen a significant increase in website traffic and leads. Paired with a moderate Google Adwords and social media advertising budget, in the first six months of 2021 we were able to achieve:

  • A 911% increase in website users compared to the previous period
  • A 472% increase in page views  
  • A 893% increase in organic search 
  • A 5266% increase in social media entrances to the website 
  •  A 426% increase in email entrances to the website
  • More than 5,553 page views of individual blog posts

It's important to note, TPS' moderate investment in Google Adwords campaigns and social media advertising enabled our marketing strategy to work further and faster. While good marketing strategy is always a long game, a little up-front advertising can help drive immediate results.
